WORLD BIGGEST AIRLINE MERGER!!!

It's just been announced that two of the biggest and well know carriers from USA, Delta and Northwest Airlines are to merge, creating a global alliance worth USD35b!!

Delta who was planning to shed more than 2000 jobs in USA, have decided to merge with Northwest Airline.

The new alliance will be known simply as Delta and will be managed by Richard Anderson of Delta Airlines.

The unions are strongly against this merger as they fear that jobs losses might be massive.
